Would you like to work in Mandarin Oriental Hotel?

I could work in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, but I think about it as a summer job. Taking into account my lack of any opportunities, I could work only on the lowest positions. I would choose a job as a waitress, becouse I would meet famous people and get tips. I think working in this place I could learn a lot, for example about people from another countries and theirs cultures. In my opinion job like this would be really great, but in the long run I would rather work in another place.

    Look at this sentence: " Taking into account my lack of any opportunities, I could work only on the lowest positions. " Didn't you mean QUALIFICATIONS rather than 'opportunities'?

    While working in such a prestigious hotel you will be able to meet famous people on most posts, not only as a waitress

    Dont you think that there are many jobs with a similar salary and it would be quite pointless if you don't think about connecting your future job with this field?

Christmas Island Red Crab Migration

Adult red crabs begin their breeding migration to the sea as soon as the wet season starts and can last up to 18 days. This proces is fixed around the phases of the moon. If there isn't enough time for individual parts  of their migration, they will delay the start. Female Red Crabs release eggs into the sea precisely at the turn of the high tide during the last quarter of the moon. The eggs hatch immediately on contact with the sea water. After about a month in the ocean, "Crab babies" gather  and leave the water. Numerous humans activities contribute to increased mortality among Red Crabs. The most common cause is crushing by vehicles .  For these reasons, "crab crossing" are being constructed on roads which cross main crab migrations. Peacock and computer screen

The main topics in this podcast are peacocks and colors. Lector tells some basic information about peacocks and their behavior, how work human receptors and what is the difference between normal color and color on peacock's tail named structural color. And how people could use structural color in technology.  I think that it's great idea to save energy. If we could make colors through complex structures instead of normal screens, we would in some way relieve to our planet. Nowadays, people use a lot of electronic devices.
